The student does not attempt the task This is much less of a data collection issue and more of an instructional program design issue. There are many reasons why a student would not attempt a task. Whatever they may be, the teacher must design the task to be engaging to the student. Potential Remedy A few brief ideas, might be to demonstrate the task for the student to ally any fear. The teacher might also need to "up the ante" in terms of the reinforcement provided to the student for attempting the task. It could also be that the student doesn't understand what is expected of her. |
