Oftentimes as a teacher, you will take data that you just can't seem to figure out. Either it is wildly variable, or flat as a student's heart rate after seeing the results of their 649 final exam. Whatever the problem with your data, there are helpful questions which you can ask yourself which will help you to determine why you are experiencing your data problem.
